What's different about Pachamama Tallow?

We produce only the highest grade grass fed and finished tallow from suet fat which is the fat surrounding the internal organs which is higher in skin supporting vitamins making it the perfect ingredient for our balms.

Our tallow is ethically sourced from NSW Australia. Our tallow is unlike anything else on the market because it goes through a specific process using structured water which purifies and dynamically enhances the tallow, making the vitamins more bio-available. As well as enables us to produce a product that won't leave you smelling 'meaty' like most other tallow products on the market.

What are the benefits?

Pachamama tallow is made using a natural fat rendered from the fatty tissue of grass-fed and finished cows. It’s rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, and closely resembles the oils naturally found in our skin. This makes it an excellent moisturiser that helps nourish, hydrate, and protect your skin. Plus it's free from hormone disrupting chemicals

Will I smell 'meaty' if I use tallow on my skin?

Not at all — and that’s one of the things our customers love most.

We use a unique process to purify our tallow using triple-filtered structured water, which removes impurities and significantly reduces any “meaty” scent often associated with other tallow brands. In fact, many of our stockists have switched to our balms because of their clean scent and quality.

Our Unscented Tallow Balm has a low-to-mild aroma that many customers describe as earthy, grounding, and is a favourite for those with sensitive skin or fragrance sensitivities.

We also offer naturally scented balms, some infused with whole botanicals or essential oils.

Every nose is different—some people fall in love with the scent straight away, while others take a day or two to adjust. After application, the scent gradually fades and you're left with soft supple skin.

Why is it better to use non-toxic skin care products?

Our non-toxic products minimise the risk of irritation and allergic reactions by avoiding harmful chemicals and synthetic ingredients. They support hormonal health by reducing exposure to endocrine disruptors, which contributes to your long-term wellness by limiting the accumulation of harmful substances in the body.

Are your products suitable for all skin types?

Yes, our tallow products are made from non-toxic natural ingredients and are generally suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. However, we recommend doing a patch test before using any new product to ensure compatibility.

How should I store my tallow products?

To maintain the quality of our tallow products, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid exposure to high temperatures, as they can affect the consistency and effectiveness of the product.

Shipping & Returns

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. However, if your order arrives damaged, you can request a return within 14 days of receipt. Please refer to our refund policy for more details.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders are typically dispatched within 1-2 business days. Delivery times vary depending on your location: expect 1-3 days for Express Post or 2-8 business days for standard delivery depending on metro or rural delivery location and delivery to WA can be up to 10 business days. You will receive an email once your order is dispatched, allowing you to track delivery online. Please check our shipping policy for more information.

How do I track my order?

We encourage our customers to use the Australia Post app as the best way to track and manage your order. Simply download the app and log in with the same email address used when purchasing from us. Alternatively, click the link in the email you received notifying the dispatch of your order. This will take you directly to the Australia Post tracking number and provide information on your tracking. Please allow 24 for your order to be scanned into the Australia Post network and for tracking information to become available. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the tracking number into the carrier's website or use the Australia Post App with the email address associated with your order.

Do you ship to PO box addresses?

Yes, we do. Australia Post will deliver to PO boxes. Please note we cannot deliver to PO Boxes internationally.

What time will my order be delivered?

Your order will be delivered by a third-party carrier. The Australia Post App will provide regular updates on the estimated day of delivery; however, no specific delivery time or window is available.

What happens if I am not there to receive the delivery?

Australia Post will attempt delivery as per the delivery instructions specifications you have indicated in the app. Where there are no delivery instructions, drivers will attempt to leave the items in a safe place that is hidden from view and out of the weather. Please check behind pot plants, bins or in a shed, garage, or porch. Often, there is a POD (proof of delivery) of where the item is left that is available on your app. Australia Post no longer leave delivery cards for attempted delivery. Digital notifications are now the communication method.
